Valencia CF conduct emergency drill at Mestalla
Learn about the safety protocols carried out in coordination with LALIGA, the National Police and the Red Cross to ensure the best possible care for fans in a football stadium.
Valencia CF conducted an emergency drill at Mestalla this week, in collaboration with LALIGA, the National Police and the Red Cross. The exercise is part of the safety protocols established for large-scale sporting events, aimed at ensuring proper preparedness for any emergency situation.
The drill simulated a partial evacuation scenario in one of the stands at the stadium, activating the procedures in place for this type of situation. It involved participation from private security and club staff, volunteers, medical personnel and emergency coordination managers.
These drills are part of the annual safety and emergency plan required by LALIGA for all professional clubs, and they help improve the response capacity to incidents such as fires, crowd surges or medical emergencies.
With this initiative, Valencia CF reaffirmed their commitment to the wellbeing of fans, and active involvement in the continuous improvement of safety standards in professional football.
